Fate/EXTRA Record: A Modern Remake of a Classic
Fate/EXTRA Record is set to revamp the original Fate/EXTRA, scheduled for release in 2025 on multiple platforms including PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC via Steam. This remake promises to enhance the gameplay experience while preserving the core exploration elements that fans enjoyed. The interface has been completely redesigned, offering a more modern look and feel, making navigation and interaction more intuitive than ever before.
The combat system has undergone significant changes, moving away from the original Rock, Paper, Scissors mechanic. Players will now select actions from a dynamic list of commands, each consuming a specific amount of Action Points (AP). This new turn-based system allows for a more strategic approach, as players can choose their actions based on the available AP. Additionally, a guard gauge mechanic has been introduced, adding depth to combat strategy and enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
